Amanda is a new SOLDIER 2nd Class with a firm dedication to Shin-Ra. She comes from the family of one of the initial investors into Midgar, and so her family's fortune is connected to the company. They have known the Shin-Ra family for many years. Amanda, herself, is a bit of a brat. She's privileged, gifted at using magic, and has quickly raised through the ranks of SOLDIER. She takes her job seriously, however, and is known for her excellence in completing missions. She not only despises AVALANCHE, but she is terrified of what their success would mean for her family.
She likes signs of material wealth, lore and magical artifacts, SOLDIER and older men.
She dislikes AVALANCHE, people not recognizing her family name, and not being complimented on her beauty and power.
Benjamin Louis Beauregard de Valliere

Benjamin is one of the key investors in the Midgar Project. Though older than most executives, he worked diligently as a junior executive for Shin-Ra Manufacturing. He was known as a brilliant company man, on track to Executive Office. He believed in the company and the President, and invested all of his savings and inheritance (from his adoptive father) into the project. It was a wild success and he became one of the richest men on earth almost overnight. He initially declined an Executive Office and remained in his position, but later retired. He is now a chronic adventurer. His political inclinations, new investments, openness to returning to Shin-Ra and feelings towards his family (particularly his Mako infected grandchildren) are unknown.

Bradford de Valliere
SOLDIER, 1st Class

Bradford is the older brother of Amanda, and became part of SOLDIER while she was still a child. He began his career as a junior executive, and his combat ability was noted when he defended his boss from an assassination attempt. He is most likely a very skilled fighter, but not good with magic. He slowly worked his way through the ranks to achieve 1st Class. This appointment is very new, happening around the time Amanda was elevated to 2nd Class. His feelings about AVALANCHE and SOLDIER are up to the player, as is his personality. He and Amanda are very close, though they see less of each other lately. It is unknown how he feels about her meteoric rise in SOLDIER.
