Personality: The teen is a compassionate individual that is notably selfless. Rin does what he feels is right, but being disciplined has made him obedient to following orders when given by his superiors. As a result, Rin listens to what others are saying and sometimes offers advice if he can. In his downtime Rin likes to spend his time away from people. Being an introvert doesn’t mean he doesn’t like being around people, but he doesn’t like attending to large crowds for social purposes. If he has a goal in mind then Rin will be objective focused which allows him to tolerate large crowds unless he becomes the center of attention. Oh, and also Rin plays an ocarina when he’s free to do so.
History: Rin was a quiet individual with a strong drive to make a difference with his life. Growing up in the slums wasn’t as easy as anyone else, and to be more specific Rin grew up over at Sector 8. Rin’s mother passed away when he was young and his father worked hard every day. Up until the father was plagued with overexerting himself to the point where the man lost his left leg. By this point Rin was only 16, and thankfully Rin’s grandfather barely managed to keep everything in one piece.
However, Rin grew tired of living under a rock and watching his father waste away life in booze and grief. All because the man’s leg had to be amputated. So Rin attempted to get work up on the plate and even applied for SOLDIER of Shin-Ra. Of course he was denied at first, but after the third attempt Rin was accepted by age 17. All in hopes that his father and grandfather could live up on the plate. Possibly even acquiring enough Gil to get his father a mechanical leg. Little did he know that Rin would be used as a research subject by being injected with J-cells.
At any rate he followed the same training regimen for SOLDIER in a couple of years and now he can begin some real work for Shin-Ra. Even if that meant guard duty over at the slums. Granted he’s not some big shot nor a renowned figure in SOLDIER, but Rin has a strong drive to climb up in the ranks.
Rin favored swords for the most part, but isn’t unfamiliar with using his fists or feet to hit something. Being trained on basic close quarters does wonders. It’s just that Rin’s specialty happens to be with swords. He prefers the longsword since the versatility of one handed and two handed affects how he fights.

Description: Mako energies flow through Rin’s veins that augments his body to passively gain the ability of Flight. Allowing him to combat airborne opponents with lesser difficulty than those who can’t fly.

Description: Shiva-Touched is a transformation where a veil of frost constantly emits from Rin’s body. The mako in his eyes glows with a piercing pale blue as well. The ice-infused mako seeps into the ground and the air around him to drastically lower the temperature to freezing levels. Liquid of room temperature cracks as the mako freezes the surface of the liquid. Bolstering incredible speed and reflexes. Rin gains immunity to Ice based attacks and is strong against Lightning based defenses/attacks. They also inherit a weakness to Fire.
