About: Born and raised in the slums of Sector Seven, Irvine was the youngest of three sons from a failed Materia merchant family. At a young age, Irvine resorted to criminal activity with his brothers and they were good at it. Reaping the rewards to keep them alive for another day or two. Unlike Irvine, his two brothers dived in deep into the criminal underworld, scrounging all the scraps before hitting big. They stole high quality supplies from a poorly armed convoy. They lived like kings, their names were slowly beginning to spread, but Irvine knew that it wasn't the right choice of living.
And he was right and because of this, he shed little love for them.
At the age of sixteen when both of his brothers shot dead from a sting. They were getting arrogant, He knew that they were getting too big for their boots, A ahage from father fuelled his desire to remain distant from his brother's short lived. What they didn't realise was that he lived by the means, investing his time in training, toning his fighting prowess, developing his awareness and emotional intelligence. Every day he was driven with a single goal.
Join the Shin-Ra Military. He understood the value of money, and money was never around when he wanted it, with no reliable alternative, other than being a thug with piss poor gears, he had decided to become a thug with a reliable gear of which he can manipulate and maintain.
When he was finally ready, he joined the forces, his lifelong preparation had managed to exceed expectations of his superiors but he wanted to impress them even further.
Despite all this, his time in training was brief, and he became a Shin-Ra's Private, but rather than going too fast, he chose to bide his time. Understanding the ins and outs of Shin-Ra and how their military politics works, but with the organisation being so broad, Irvine found himself struggling to gather all the details.
“You’re only good at it if you get away with it,” is his mantra. Although he is living by his own means, it's slowly becoming more stressful and an arduous task for him. Knowing full well that he’s coming of age and the requirement to join Shin-Ra, Irvine immediately jumps at the chance to become an infantry trooper of the organization.
Passed with flying colours, Irvine showed the army that he’s a capable little trooper, excelling in the use of his wits and ingenuity and possibly unregulated method of his shotgun use. Superiors eyes are slowly start to gaze at his achievements
…and his rumoured miscreant behaviour.
