About:
Brock stands six feet two inches tall, has trimmed medium brown hair, and usually clean shaven by military standards (every once in a while he has stubble). Due to his insane workout regime and extreme training processions he is notably muscled, even in full SOLDIER gear he is distinguished by his large shoulders, burly chest, thick neck and arms. While many will argue that they never see him out of uniform (2nd Class SOLDIER or Infantry Blues), when he is working solo he adorns black or white BDU pants, an insulated lycra twill form fitting shirt (black, white, or green), tactical utility boots, black leather fingerless gloves, a utility belt, municipal multi rig harness, and armored knee pads. Outside of work he prefers to dress in mute or cool colors usually grey, black, blue and white.

Loyal, easygoing, respectful, and detail oriented, these are few outstanding traits those that know Brock will tell you about. However when in a combat situation he amps up, revealing a few alternate traits that lay dormant when not suited for duty. Among these are Tenacity, and a near emotionless focus to the task at hand. Brock is not one to give up on important tasks and will attempt multiple strategies to see the end to a means, while displaying a near fictional level of honor and loyalty to his employer and his comrades, during the high tension of combat he can become cold, calculating, and near emotionless.
Brock is untrusting of Materia and only carries the standard issument by decree of SOLDIER when on duty, when accompanying Infantry, or solo missions he refuses to use or equip any. His beliefs lie in training hard and relying on your natural abilities as the key to strength and success. Though often times feeling remorseful for going through the newly decreed and top secret MAKO infusion a year ago upon his promotion to 2nd class, he sees it as a necessary evil, afterall attaining rank in SOLDIER was a family goal passed from his grandfather. Likewise he can always be seen training and working hard to push his body to the limits, most of his off time is spent in the VR training facility at the Shin-Ra Building.
A gearhead at heart Brock also enjoys constructing things, weaponsmithing, and mechanical repairs, a trait heavily passed on from his crafty, idolized mastersmith Grandfather. He also idolizes Sephiroth as he spent many years in service hearing stories and field reports of the brilliant solider, flawless tactician, and unequaled combat specialist.
History
Born in Junon to a military family, his Grandfather served in the Shin-ra infantry since he youth and attained a permanent position in the Junon weapons base as a Weaponsmith until his recent death. It was his Grandfather above all else that Brock veld in high regards, his father worked the docks as he felt joining the military was a waste of life. Growing up he too held this ideal until the age of 12 when he learned the truth, his father was also employed by Shin-ra but failed the SOLDIER qualifications. Disgraced he served his time as an infantryman until his tour was over, from then on he worked the docks indoctrinating a bitter resentment.
Learning this planted a seed with young Brock who strived to accomplish what his Grandfather, and father could no do. With the help of his Grandfather he began to train, often times he would be allowed on base in his Grandfather's hangar. There he had the chance to submerge himself in the Military life, some of those around thought it something else to see this young kid so fired up and eager to serve. The positive experiences nurtured his goals, he intensified his training, and focused his resolve, that upon graduating he immediately sought out Shin-ra headquarters and enrolled.
Much to his dismay he was initially refused for SOLDIER, but given his family's service history they offered him a position in the Infantry. Brock dutifully accepted and took it upon himself to train harder, to show the Corporation what he was capable of, and his family that SOLDIER was not unattainable. Four years of research, training, and experience payed off as he was given clearance to join the SOLDIER program. His excellence in the Infantry awarded him alot of popularity within his company, and notice from some Shin-Ra executives. The day of his occupational shift was a very proud moment for him as well as his family, from that point on he spent his time indulging in new missions experiences and privileges. He was not prepared for the amount of time that was spent on duty as a SOLDIER, but he always made time to visit his family and his grandfather's grave when in Junon, and spend time within the ranks of the Infantry. He remembered what it was like when most SOLDIER's would gafaw and ignore Infantry believing them inferior in all aspects, that and feelings of regret from those that failed to make it into the program. This awarded him with strong bonds and the title "Sarge" as they felt like he was a close leader and enjoyed his presence.
During his man tours of duty in SOLDIER Brock has seen his fair share (and then some) of needless combat, bloodshed, and political manipulation. Brock took it upon himself to adopt those who were paired with him, training them in the necessary in and outs of SOLDIER and combat survivalism, preffering that there be no caste or rank discrimination in his coompanies. As the vast majority of those that worked with Brock had more than often survived their initial missions, often climbing ranks and proving mertious tours of duty, combining his own feats and loyalty he was called in to HQ and presented with a 2nd class promotion.
Brock continues to prove his loyalties and assists with Shin-ra in picking up the pieces. While hating the Political games being played Brock remains steadfast, and will be damned if another important officer of his company falls prey to extremists under his watch.
