With the president of Shin-ra as his uncle and his sister Autumn as a member of the turks,a young man of 22, Lucas Garett had one year ago worked at Shin-Ra as a "college" student considering to work at Shin-Ra corporation full time because he believed them to actually do some good to better the lives of the people. Now with a finished internship he has been given one assignment by the that he agrees would be helpful: infiltrate AVALANCHE as a new member and spy on them while making reports back, basically giving him the double agent assignment. After a harsh meeting with members of avalanche who told him their view on what was going on he was torn between these people and Shin-Ra who, after one year since the meteor did nothing but continue working in their corporation crushed his hopes that they would come and help them making him realize now that Shin-Ra was made up of nothing more than cowards and money pigs after this revelation he finally joined avalanche where he hopes that he can make a difference....or so the members of avalanche believe.
Lucas who was still loyal to shin-ra made up a sad and tragic story to get close to avalanche so that he could report to shin-ra any and all activity that avalanche was up to so that anything that avalanche tried to pull would be stopped by Shin-Ra. to make it so that he wouldn't be suspected of anything after meeting and he was alone by himself, he would report to Shin-Ra via "i pad" and has been playing "double agent" ever since.

After a time of working under an AVALANCHE leader by the name of SWITCH he learned how insane she was by sacrificing one of their own to the point where she had him test his allegience to avalanche by killing three shin-ra grunts that to Shin-Ra are considered disposable however his compassion for others over came what she ordered him to do causing him to break off from SWITCH and her avalanche cell.
When he returned back to Shin-Ra he had a family meeting with his sister: Autumn Nevada who at the time was a turk , their meeting was first about seeing if he could get transferred to a different job she threw out sections such as the science division however when he mentioned joining SOLIDER she voiced a solid no saying once they make a solider you cant be unmade, and to help push how dangerous solider is she had called up her friend Gawain who was ironically a SOLIDER 1st class, gawain went over the process of making a solider and after telling him the process told him that if he went through it he would have a 50% chance of surviving. during this conversation SWITCH had snuck a robot spider in his pocket that activated and tried to assassinate lucas using an ice crystal before he could give any more details on switch causing autumn to take the damage instead forcing the two men into action to save her by getting her to the med bay successfully.
With Autumn in recovery from an assassination attack meant for him, Lucas was confused and lost as he wandered the halls of the headquarters, he found himself by pure chance in the solider training room where he met the second solider:Thalia, distracting her from a training bot at his sudden appearence in the room causing her to get punched only for him to punch the bot in response from there he chased after her getting in a punch and a kick when he could but still ran after her despite not being a solider compared to her, after finally catching up with her she did tell him what gawain said was true but that he had a 60% chance of survival and with her reccommendation he signed up for solider.
Now lucas has survived the process to become a solider and is a 3rd class solider while his sister is apparently now the public relations director
