Sakura is a very cold and bitter individual. She is reclusive almost in nature. She is rather standoffish to those She doesn't know or doesn't like or trust. She isn't one for idle threats or promises. She has very little faith in most people and she doesn't trust easily. She focuses on the tasks she is given unless she finds it to be a total waste of her skills and time. Sakura does have a softer side to her personality, a side only her closest friends and family get to see. She cares for those closest to her and would do anything for them. She is fiercely loyal to those she truly trusts. She dislikes her loved ones being hurt and would be quick to recompense the damage to those who harmed them. She can hold a grudge for a very long time. Those who have angered normally stay on her bad side for a very long time. Sakura is cunning, intelligent and very good at messing with people's heads. She knows her strengths and she knows how to use them to her advantage. She is good at keeping a cool head when placed in a pressure situation. She doesn't have much too say but what She does say is usually important. She doesn't suffer a fool well and she has a hot temper.

Sakura will not let anything stop her. Sakura has clear goals. Sakura tends to take failure very personally. Sakura is her own harshest critic. Sakura has the ability to find ways to improve things. Strangers find her a little intimidating. She is often a little critical of friends and family. She has a very strong work ethic. Sakura is self-motivated. History:
Sakura was born in Wutai two years before the end of the war to very poor parents or so everyone thought. Growing up in an impoverished household in a war torn land was a tough existence. She met another young girl when she started her training at the tender age of five and they hit it off almost immediately, becoming fast friends. She found out later that her new best friend was the daughter of Wutai's leader, and thus her friendship with a 'peasant' girl was frowned upon. Their parents tried keep the girls apart fearing the perceived backlash the girls' friendship could cause. The girls refused to stay apart though. Sakura was eight when she started to realize how bad things were in Wutai. That is when her demeanor started to change, that she became more bitter and more closed off to everyone but those closest to her. The real reason behind why Sakura and her best friend's friendship was frowned upon; Sakura's mother was the sister of the leader of  Wutai and had spoken up against the war before it started which was seen as an act of disrespect and was promptly disowned andthrown out onto the street by her overzealous brother. The siblings had refused to acknowledge each other as such and didn't want their children to even associate with one another.  By the time Sakura was 14 both her and her best friend were sick of life in Wutai, and run away in the dead of the night. They eventually made it to Cosmo Canyon which is where they joined Avalanche in hopes of stopping Shin-ra's draining of the lifestream for a profit and to make the company pay for what they did to their home. Both Sakura and her friend are now in Midgar ready to take the fight to Shin-ra.
