Site Rules

• Roleplayers at FFVII: Reunion agree to respect their fellow roleplayers. Personal attacks are not tolerated.

• FFVII: Reunion does not discriminate against anyone. Anyone may join so long as they can read and write at least a paragraph, are over the age of thirteen, and can follow the rules of the site.

• FFVII: Reunion has a rating of PG-13.

• We have no word count.

• Keep advertisements in the advertisements board.

• After 96 hours of no posting in an staff run event thread your character may be skipped. There is no skipping in threads that are not staff run unless the majority of the participants and a staff member agree.

• If an admin/mod asks you to cease any activity, please listen. If you have reason to believe they are wrong, please contact another another staff member for a second opinion.

• Your display name must be changed to match your character's name (at least first name). This can be done by editing your personal tab of the profile.

• We have optional rules for those that want to play combatant characters. You can play on this site as a non-combatant civilian without worrying about the systems. On the app where it asks you about archetype points just say none. If you go this route you just need to read through these general rules and the premise really.

• An application is required for each character.

• To start as a SOLDIER first class your character needs to be at least 30. Younger SOLDIER's can be granted the rank by the Public Safety Department Director with approval from the President or Vice President.

• Our characters are non-canon, meaning they must be of original make without any relation to canon characters. This site is an AU and the only canon that actually exists is Jenova, and they are not playable.

• Roleplayers are not limited in the number of characters they can have.

• Do not harass others for a response. Please tag them in the thread and be patient.

• Characters must have their own account.

• If you are writing solo posts you may only post once per 24 hours per character.

• The site runs on liquid time and there isn't a limit on threads. The timeline of events in the short term is very flexible.

• If a thread is open for everyone to join, please put [Open] in the title. If you see a thread that doesn't have this title you need to ask the creator for permission to join.

• Things that will create major destruction like a reactor bomb requires a site event with certain requirements being met, if you have an idea for an on site event please PM us. It becomes open and will be featured somewhere visible on the site. These threads will follow the 96 hour skip rules and the staff may inject NPCs.

• Roleplayers agree that “bad” roleplay (as defined and outlined in this Guide — including but not limited to powerplay, godmodding, and metagaming) should not occur at FFVII: Reunion.

• Use this guide for combat guidelines. We allow one major combat action per post (attacking, casting spells, using limit breaks). No auto-hits ever. We encourage you to communicate with your writing partner(s) to resolve disputes. We will review a thread on request if it can't be worked out.

• Only the owner of a character will decide if they die.

• Posting templates that modify background color of the posting area are prohibited. If you color your text please keep in mind there is a blue, green, red, black, and pink theme that it needs to be visible on. You can use this premade template.

• Signature images can be no larger than 250 pixels in height and cannot stretch the forum.

• Mini Profile Hover Images are located in the personal tab of our profile. Post a direct link of a 200x300 image there. No gifs. For instructions on how to add a hover image click here.

• The smaller avatar image should be a perfect square. Animanga/ Videogame Avatars or a drawing. No gifs. Face claims are optional, but if you are going to use an anime or manga character from a series to represent your character please make sure it isn't taken on this list.

• Grossly Offensive images will result in an immediate ban.

• We reserve the right to remove any image from the forum. You will receive a private message as to why an image was removed and a copy of the image as long as it does not break proboards ToS outright.
