The streets in Sector 5 were mostly lit from a mixture of lamps and buildings. Solid steps could be heard from Rin’s boots as he remained alert for danger. Garbed in the typical SOLDIER uniform which consists of a purple sleeveless shirt with slightly baggy pants. On the left side of his belt is a broadsword stowed in its scabbard. Being recently promoted into the 3rd Class of SOLDIER made Rin change his attire from the usual Infantry that he's used to. Not that he'll complain as the visors always felt like they narrowed his vision. His short dark hair shift with his movement, and while some people prefer to keep their blades over their back. Rin finds keeping the blade at his hip since it was more efficient that way in his opinion.
Tonight wasn’t a typical patrol for Rin, and neither is it for his superior. A 2nd Class Operative named Brock Wilmot was his name, and tonight they signed up for a Manhunt job. Simply locate some traitors to Shin-Ra and they get a tip that Sector 5 has a rumor that some shady people could be found over at some bar. Granted it wasn’t much and Rin honestly doubted that there was merit to this rumor. Yet it was worth a look anyways. All they have to do is reach this Red Dragon Tavern and keep watch.
“Do you really think these traitors would be out in the open?” Rin asks Brock as there was a hint of doubt in the truth to this rumor. If anything Rin inquires if Brock holds the same doubt as he, but orders were orders. Despite the time of day, the nightlife is a bit active at the main plaza and near public areas. Sometimes the clatter of glass bottles echoed from the lit alleyways to which drew Rin’s eyes over to that direction. But it was just a cat, so Rin turned his vision back to what’s in front of them.
