The Head Turk's gloved hands worked deftly over the service lift's control console. His experience with such systems had ultimately proven to be useless in the current situation. Every command input would output various iterations of access denial. However, the situation Autumn created in the elevator would arrest his attention from the computer screen.
"Hey, what do you think you're doing!?" Tak intended to intervene promptly, at first not understanding the full breadth of his subordinate's play. Though just as promptly as he spoke up, Autumn promptly cut him off with a single raised hand. Huh, so that's how that felt.
Tak initially met Nevada's silent plea of trust with a look of ire, becoming concerned over the risk she chose to invite. Would he shoot down the bot and then verbally reprimand the redhead? Perhaps it would be best to let the machine fulfill it's hostile intent so she could learn the hard way.
"IDENTITY CONFIRMED. Welcome to the Shin-ra Electric Power Company Mako Reactor 8! We hope you enjoy learning about the magic of Mako Energy!"
The monodrive's tone took a jarring shift once it processed the fake ID produced by Autumn; from metallic attack dog to robotic tour guide. Even the spotlight was now being used for the courtesy of lighting the dark chamber for the three, not blinding them. This success drained the tension from Tak's expression, and he released a deep sigh of relief. Looks like his boss won't be short one niece after all, that would not have been a fun conversation to have with the President.
"Jeez, you nearly gave me a heart attack. That could have gone a lot worse." He was a hard man to please, and reluctant to give praise. His subordinates both handled themselves well and actually better than he expected. It was actually impressive, not that he would ever admit that fact.
"Looks like we've gotten as far as we can with my credentials. The elevator locked itself into place once it decided my ID was invalid. Resetting the system should bring it back to normal." As Tak spoke, he began the process of reloading his revolver by breaking it open with the push of a button. Three spent casings were ejected and fell to the floor like loose change, then replaced by fresh ammunition. The weapon was snapped shut with a spinning flourish on his finger as he addressed the two.
"There should be a main control terminal at the core of the reactor that we can use. We just need to get down there and get past a hallway of bigger and badder security bots. Any ideas on how we should proceed?"
